Hong Kong Film Festival of Paris

From Hong Kong, rooted in Paris, connected to the world.

The Hong Kong Film Festival of Paris (FFHKP) is the only film festival in France curated by Hongkongers, dedicated to showcasing Hong Kong cinema and culture. Established in 2022, the festival takes place annually in Paris. We aim to introduce the diverse perspectives, artistic energy, and unique storytelling of Hong Kong to European audiences. Each year, we present a carefully curated selection of feature films, documentaries, experimental works, and shorts, along with in-person conversations with filmmakers to foster cross-cultural dialogue. Supported by the City Hall of Paris (Marie de Paris) and various partners, the festival offers a space that is independent, creative, and politically conscious. We believe cinema is not only an art form—but a witness to identity, memory, and historical transformation.

Emerging Talents – Conversations with Five New Hong Kong Directors

CUBE is a non-governmental organisation established by a group of Hong Kong people who profoundly love their cinematic culture.Initially, it was an idea that came up during a casual chat, while drinking milk tea - two Hong Kong expatriates talked about to share their love of theater, cinema and other creative art forms with the French public, from a Hong Kong perspective" (and not "to share their love for theatre, cinema and other creative art forms from a Hong Kong perspective with the French public. The idea then became an actual project with the help of professionals from the industry, independent artists and intellectuals. Not only is the name Cube an alternative representation of C³ (an acronym of the name – Association des Créations Culturelles et Cinématographiques de Hong-Kong), but it also underlies an ambition of bringing our audiences to re-experience Hong Kong culture from a stereo-dimensional perspective.
